Barbara (a wife and retired banker), along with my husband David (a former naval Petty Officer and a retired Air Traffic Communications Navigation and Surveillance systems technician), are the owners of Nature’s Delight Lodge in Colonel Hill, Crooked Island - Bahamas.
We have enjoyed many opportunities to travel and lived in various countries on work-related assignments as well as personal vacations. These opportunities to interact with so many diverse peoples and cultures are primarily the driving force behind our desire to venture into the Bahamas tourism market, in the near pollution-free, laid back, natural environment on Crooked Island.
Our desire is to interact with visitors when they visit our shores in general, and particularly, those that choose to live at Nature’s Delight Lodge. Our goal is to have our guests experience a warm family atmosphere and to exceed their expectations during the stay on Crooked Island, leaving them with a better understanding of the island’s culture and feeling like family to the islanders.
